“There’s always flowers for those who want to see them.” – Henri Matisse
Life sometimes has a way of hitting us full square in the gut and knocking us flat on our backs. That’s when we need to take a moment to clear our minds of the difficulties and hurts that are affecting us, and remember the good things in life; we need to look at the flowers.
“And why do you worry…? Consider the lilies in the field and how they grow…” – Matthew 6:26
Jesus points the way: Look at the flowers. God made them beautiful; they never worry and they never worked to make themselves that way. God takes good care of the them; will He not take greater care for something of infinite more value, even you?
